As many of you know, tonight was Growth Group Night, where are groups enjoyed the entire evening however they wanted. Each group did something different, and as you can see, they had a blast!
IN THE WORD THIS WEEK:
Sunday School: This past week concluded the church-wide study, “Radical”.- We spent most of our time reviewing the 6 Radical Challenges and discussing practical ways to do each:
- Read through the entire Bible in this upcoming year.
- Pray for the world.
- Give beyond yourself.
- Go beyond yourself.
- Commit to a growth group for one year.
- Join God’s team.
UPCOMING EVENTS & IMPORTANT INFO:
Christmas Caroling & Party: On next Wednesday, December 11, we’re caroling at a nearby retirement home from 6:00-7:00 pm (meet at the Youth Center). We’ll return to the Youth Center and party with Christmas music, snacks, and a cookie decorating contest from 7:00-8:30 pm. Information and sign-up are online at www.oneeightyone.org.
Winter Retreat: Jr. and Sr. highers are invited and encouraged to join us for an amazing retreat on January 17-19, 2014. We’ll getaway to Stony Glen and focus on (re)igniting a passion for Christ. It’s a great time to connect with new and old friends while enjoying great food, exciting activities, power worship , and meaningful time in God’s Word.
