OneEightyOne Student Ministries is a ministry of Cross of Hope Church. This is a group that loves God and is looking forward to helping each 7th through 12th grader feel welcomed and find a place to Connect, Grow, and Serve.
Our Mission: to help students find and follow Jesus Christ.
Sundays – All are invited to join us Sunday morning at 9:30 in the Youth Center for time of in-depth bible study and fellowship. We often take a week to focus on fellowship, on worship in song, and on prayer.
Wednesdays – We have a couple options: All are welcome to join us at 7pm in the youth center. Our evenings include games, a wide range of lesson topics, and time in small group discussion and prayer.
Additionally, the guys have the option of joining Battalion (a part of the Christian Service Brigade program), “a discipleship ministry in which Christian men build personal relationships with teen guys within the church and mentor them to be effective Christian leaders”. And the girls have the option of serving as leaders with in the Pioneer Clubs (a part of our Children’s Ministry).
What does OneEightyOne mean? It’s a great way to picture our mission. We want to see every student make a 180 degree turn from living life on their own, for themselves, and turn to Christ for hope, help, and healing (find Jesus Christ). Then we want to see them continue to take that 1 next step forward toward God (follow Jesus Christ).
